Patterns arise from precise, repeated, repeatable interactions. Be it people, birds, fish, air and water molecules. Patterns are the result of extended relationships. They can entrain our gaze. Or rule us without our knowledge.
Patterns discovered through math and science interest me most. I use these as templates for reexamining our everyday lives. Through patterns, I reimagine the everyday objects and relationships that we gloss over to see our world more deeply.
I would like to use this interest in patterns as the foundation for proposing new possibilities and challenging our common sense.
I hope to further make visible the connections between humans and the totality of Earth’s biota and push toward a development of the Sustainment, whereby the future conditions of all life can be discovered and maintained.
